I am by no means a professional photographer and I actually did struggle to capture the beauty of the lights installations I’ve seen this weekend. This is my first time attending a Lumière festival in London. Although it was freezing this Sunday when I went to check them out, I was so fascinated by the installations that I didn’t even feel my hands turning blue on the camera.
By far my favourite display, out of the 13 I got to see, were the Luminéoles. They were just mesmerising and the music that played along reminded me of a Harry Potter scene. I loved it and spent a lot of time just gazing, smiling and feeling like a kid.
I missed out on quite a few displays, but time ran out so quickly and the festival was only on for three days. Sadly, I was able to go see them only on the last day. There were many more around King’s Cross.

The slightly disappointing bit is that there weren’t enough interactive, moving light shows. I know Lyon Lumiere festival is an incredible production! My friend and fellow blogger Madalina can testify.
Do you have any cool photos from the festival? I’d love to see more! Send me your links in the comments.
