Oysters, cocktails and a good ol’ time

I love it when my friends come to visit me in London, as it sends me into ‘Plan the best weekend ever’ mode and I get to make the most out of my time, regardless of how tired I might be after a week of work.

*Note: I tend to go for quieter weekends and lazy mornings, rather than activity-packed ones.

So the last 48 hours were a marathon of the following, in this exact order:

Pilgrims pizza (one of the best in the city), China town stroll, frozen yogurt, forgetting to get off at the right train station and waiting 30 min in the cold for a delayed last train, Greenwich park, flee market bargains, Borough market, fresh oysters, pink prosecco, BEST PASTA I ever had (La tua pasta), Oxford street madness, Old Spitalfields Market, LOTS of cocktails, salt beef, more cocktails, a silent disco, pulled pork and a very heated train back home.

And I have the pictures to prove it!

What is a ‘Silent disco’ you ask? Oh, it’s just a party where everyone’s wearing headphones, listening to the same music and looking completely ridiculous when gesturing, singing and dancing ┬áto what from the outside looks like…silence!
